MARYAM
فَلَمَّا
وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي
وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَى وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ
بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ
كَالأُنْثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا
مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ
وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
الرَّجِيمِ
Then when she (Imraan's wife) gave birth to her
[child Maryam], she said: "O my Lord! I have given birth
to a female child," - and Allaah knew better what she brought
forth, - "And the male is not like the female, and I have named
her Maryam, and I seek refuge with You (Allaah) for her
and for her offspring from Ashaitaan, the outcast."

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا
رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنْبَتَهَا
نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا
كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا
الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا
قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَذَا
قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ
اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ
حِسَابٍ
So her Lord (Allaah)
accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good
manner and put her under the care of Zakariyaa. Every
time he entered Al-Mihraab to (visit) her, he found her supplied
with sustenance. He said: "O Maryam! From where have you
got this?" She said, "This is from Allaah." Verily,
Allaah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit."

وَإِذْ
قَالَتِ الْمَلائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ
وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَى نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ
And (remember) when the angels said: "O
Maryam! Verily, Allaah has chosen you, purified you, and chosen you above the women of the worlds."

يَا
مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي
وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
O Maryam, be devoutly obedient to your Lord (Allaah) and prostrate and bow down with those who bow down [in prayer]."

ذَلِكَ
مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ
إِلَيْكَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ
يُلْقُونَ أَقْلامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ
يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ
إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
And (remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam! Verily, Allaah has chosen you, purified you, and chosen you above the women of the worlds."

إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
(Remember) when the Angels said: "O Maryam! Verily, Allaah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him, his NAME will be AL-MASSEEHU EESSA IBNU MARYAM, held in honor in this World and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are brought to a vicinity of Allaah."

وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا
And [We (Allaah) cursed them (Jews)] for their disbelief and their saying against Maryam a great slander.
----------
يَا
أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لا تَغْلُوا فِي
دِينِكُمْ وَلا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ
إِلا الْحَقَّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ
عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ
وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ
وَرُسُلِهِ وَلا تَقُولُوا ثَلاثَةٌ
انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ إِنَّمَا
اللَّهُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ
أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَهُ مَا فِي
السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى
بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلا
O people of the Scripture! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of
Allaah aught but the truth. The Messiah Eessa ibnu Maryam, was (no more than) a Messenger of Allaah and His Word, which He bestowed on Maryam and
a spirit created by Him; so believe in Allaah and His
Messengers. Say not: "Three (in trinity)!" Cease! (it is)
better for you. For Allaah is (the only) One God, glory be to
Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that
is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allaah is
All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

وَاذْكُرْ
فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ انْتَبَذَتْ
مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا
And mention in the Book Maryam, when she withdrew in seclusion
from her family to a place facing east.
فَاتَّخَذَتْ
مِنْ دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا
إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا
بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
She placed a screen (to screen
herself) from them; then We (Allaah) sent to her Our Rooh (The Angel), and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all
respects.
قَالَتْ
إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ مِنْكَ
إِنْ كُنْتَ تَقِيًّا
She (Maryam) said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the
Most Gracious (Allaah) from you, if you do fear Allaah."
قَالَ
إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لأَهَبَ
لَكِ غُلامًا زَكِيًّا
(The
angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord (Allaah), (to
announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
قَالَتْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا
She (Maryam) said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am
I unchaste?"
قَالَ كَذَلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَقْضِيًّا
He (The Angel) said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: ‘That is easy for Me
(Allaah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a
mercy from Us (Allaah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by
Allaah).’
فَحَمَلَتْهُ
فَانْتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
So
she (Maryam) conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place.
فَأَجَاءَهَا
الْمَخَاضُ إِلَى جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ
قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ
هَذَا وَكُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيًّا
And
the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She (Maryam) said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten
and out of sight!"
فَنَادَاهَا
مِنْ تَحْتِهَا أَلا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ
جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
Then
(the babe or the Angel) cried unto her from
below her, saying: "Grieve not: your Lord has provided a water
stream under you.
وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
"And
shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh
ripe-dates upon you."
----------
فَكُلِي
وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا فَإِمَّا
تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا
فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ
صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ
إِنْسِيًّا
"So
eat and drink and be glad. And if you see any human being, say:
‘Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Gracious (Allâh) so I
shall not speak to any human being this day.’"
----------
فَأَتَتْ
بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ قَالُوا يَا
مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا
Then
she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O
Maryam! Indeed you have brought a mighty thing.
----------
يَا
أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ
امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ
بَغِيًّا
"O sister of Hârûn! Your father was not
a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."
----------
فَأَشَارَتْ
إِلَيْهِ قَالُوا كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَنْ
كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
Then
she pointed out to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a
child in the cradle? "
----------
لَقَدْ
كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ
هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قُلْ
فَمَنْ يَمْلِكُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا
إِنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهْلِكَ الْمَسِيحَ
ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ وَمَنْ فِي
الأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ
السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا
بَيْنَهُمَا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ
وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Surely, in disbelief are they who say that Allaah is Al-Masseehu Eessa Ibnu Maryam . Say (O Muhammad):
"Who then has the least power against Allaah, if He were to
destroy Al-Masseeha Ibnu Maryam, his mother, and all those
who are on the earth together?" And to Allaah belongs the
dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them.
He creates what He wills. And Allaah is Able to do all things.

مَا
الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلا رَسُولٌ
قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ
وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلانِ
الطَّعَامَ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ
لَهُمُ الآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انْظُرْ أَنَّى
يُؤْفَكُونَ
Al-Masseehu Eessa Ibnu Maryam, was no
more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away
before him. His mother was a Siddeeqah.
They both used to eat food. Look how We (Allaah) make the verses, signs clear to them; yet look how they
are deluded away (from the truth).
